Very interesting. Wonder where it will be manufactured.

I'm pretty sure it's still made in China like the CC's.

That doesn't bother me "too" much. I won't say that it doesn't at all. Then again, the AC15CC is a real decently assembled unit. Chasis mounted pre's and power tubes. The only real complaint I have about it is the Wharfedale speaker is not very nice sounding and the control panel looks and feels fairly cheap.

That would have been my guess. I don't really care where something is made, as long as it is made well.

the origin of assembly doesn't bother me. either, for the most part.

just unpacked my JMJ30 and fired it up. i have to be off to a gig in a few min and i'm almost sorry that i have to go! i can't take it with me since it's not in a cab yet. the initial wow-factor is pretty high for me with this amp. i'm sure i'll find this and that as i play it in the next couple of days. i'll start another thread Sunday night.

Looking forward to it. One thing I'm curious about (aside from how it plays for you ) is what tubes he is putting in there - esp. the EF86.

I know you don't want to, but I still say 2 x 12 combo with one of those amps - you would still have the head for gigging. I have my AC30 in a road case with casters. Only lifting into vehicle and onstage is still a chore, usually it's no problem with people around to lend a hand.

Mmmm..., 2x12 combo is a hard sell for me, especially with the CC. it's plenty heavy even as a head (JMJ is quite a bit lighter). i'm still leaning towards letting go of it. i looked the inside over last weekend as well.
